Pember Library & Museum of Natural History
The Pember Library & Museum was founded in 1909 by Franklin Pember to inspire wonder, discovery, responsibility for the natural world and to better understand our place in it. The Museum stewards and interprets one of the largest natural history collections in New York State. It is the only museum of its kind within a 75 mile radius. With over 7,000 natural history objects of rare and exotic fauna and flora displayed in their original settings in a stately Victorian building. The Museum is a unique quality of life attraction and cultural experience that captivates the imagination of young and old. The Pember Museum is free of charge.
