NOTICE OF VACANCY
JUNIOR PLANNER
Warren County Planning is seeking to fill the position of Junior Planner. The Junior Planner assists higher-level planning and GIS staff with assignments relating to municipal, community, County, and/or regional planning programs and projects. Duties may include research and analysis; preparation of reports, maps, charts, and graphics; grant assistance; review of planning referrals; organization of data and records; and use of Geographic Information Systems for spatial analysis, mapping, and data management. Evening meetings may be required. Does related work as required.
Salary: $53,576.00
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in planning, architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, environmental studies, geography, natural resources, political science, or related field.
Residency Requirements: Must be a resident of Warren County or a contiguous County at time of appointment.
This title has been approved for the NY HELPS program and will not require candidates to take a written exam.
