Wastewater Treatment Plant Attendant/Driver
The City of Glens Falls is seeking a full-time Plant Attendant/Driver. The incumbent assists in the cleaning, operation and maintenance of equipment, buildings, and grounds at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Work is performed under the direct supervision of a higher-level plant employee or the Chief Operator and requires adherence to established practices and procedures.
Salary: $46,051.20 40-hour work week M-F Excellent benefits
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma or
- Six (6) months working experience at a Wastewater Treatment Plant
SPECIAL REQUIRMENT: At time of appointment and throughout term of employment, possession of a valid NYS Commercial driver’s license appropriate to the duties of the position.
