     Library Program Coordinator
     
    Rockwell Falls Public Library is looking to fill an upcoming vacancy for a part-time library program coordinator.  Our vacancy will be available March 24, 2026.  We are looking for an energetic, creative, team-oriented program coordinator with a strong public service commitment. The incumbent will provide library service and create and oversee programming for children (typically ages 0-12) and teens (13-21) from diverse backgrounds and abilities, as well as, assist with planning and implementing adult and family programming. This position is supervised by the Library Manager. Does related work as required.
     
    Salary: $18.50 per hour (25 hours per week, must be available evenings and Saturdays)
     
    Minimum Qualifications:
    1. Associate’s degree in education, library science, public administration, English or communications or closely related field; or
    2. Graduation from high school and two (2) years of experience in a library setting or performing duties related to the oversight, coordination and administration of programs.
     
    The position will be filled based upon Civil Service requirements.  A provisional appointment will be made with an exam to be held at a later date.  Candidate must meet Civil Service requirements for appointment following the establishment of the Eligible List.
