NOTICE OF ANTICIPATED VACANCY
BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER
The Warren County Department of Public Works is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Building Maintenance Worker at the Warren County Fish Hatchery is Warrensburg, NY. This is a non-competitive Civil Service position. Performs a variety of semi-skilled building repair and maintenance tasks; does related work as required. At the present time there is one position available,
at our Parks and Recreation facility located at the Warren County Fish Hatchery in Warrensburg, NY
SALARY: $47,238 (2026 Base Salary)
Minimum Qualifications:
A) Two (2) years of experience in either general building construction or maintenance work in one or more of the standard trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical; or
B) Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement: Possession of a Class D driver’s license at time of appointment.
