The Open Door Mission announces appointments and promotions to implement the mission’s next phase of growth. Since 2016, Open Door Mission has embarked on an aggressive campaign to extend programs to the homeless and those impoverished serving Warren, Washington and Northern Saratoga Counties. Current projects nearing completion include the 52 bed men’s shelter and the Life Path Program floor. The increase in beds will allow the Mission to accept more people into the Life Path Program. The Chapman Museum is proud to announce it received a 2022 grant from the Waldo T. Ross and Ruth S. Ross Charitable Trust Foundation. The Foundation, which honors the legacy of Waldo and Ruth Ross, awarded the Chapman $60,500. Despite the rainy day, hundreds of people came out on July 5th to participate in the Lake George Land Conservancy’s (LGLC) 10th annual Lake George Hike-A-Thon.
