    SENIOR ACCOUNT CLERK
    FULL TIME WITH BENEFITS
     
    SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Warren County Treasurer is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Senior Account Clerk. The Senior Account Clerk in the Warren County Treasurer’s Office is responsible for processing property tax payments, tax searches, daily receipts, on-line banking, bank deposits, account reconciliations, as well as other assigned functions. This position requires interaction with the public.
     
    SALARY: $45,751 (2025 Base Salary)
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Associate’s degree or higher in accounting, business or closely-related field; or
    2. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two (2) years of experience maintaining financial accounts and records.
    RESIDENCY: Candidates must have been legal residents of Warren County or a contiguous county (Essex, Hamilton, Saratoga, Washington) for at least four months immediately preceding the date of the exam.
     
    Position will be filled based on Civil Service requirements. A provisional appointment will be
    made with examination to be held at a later date. Candidates must meet civil service
    requirements for appointment following establishment of eligible list.
