HOUSING ASSISTANCE REPRESENTATIVE

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Assist low-income families with applications for housing subsidy, collect Project Based Unit rents and field incoming calls.
 
SALARY: $40,484.74
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and one (1) year of full-time paid clerical experience, maintenance of financial accounts/records, or customer service experience.
 
NOTE: Satisfactory completion of 30 credits of college level coursework may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
 
RESIDENCY: Candidates must have been legal residents of Warren County, a contiguous county (Essex, Hamilton, Saratoga, Washington) for at least four months immediately preceding the date of the exam.
 
The position will be filled based upon Civil Service requirements. A provisional appointment will be made with examination to be held at a later date. Candidates must meet Civil Service requirements for appointments following establishment of the Eligible List.
