Notice of Anticipated Vacancy
POSITION: ONE MAINTENANCE WORKER (Full time with benefits)
AVAILABLE: July 1, 2025
WORK HOURS: As assigned: Day Shift adjusted seasonally, 40 hours per week Mon.-Friday with a ½ hour lunch.
REPORTS TO: The Head Custodians, and through the Head Custodians to the Director of Facilities and through the Director of Facilities to the Business Official, and through the Business Official to the Superintendent of Schools.
JOB DUTIES: Performs semi-skilled duties of building repair/maintenance and grounds activities to include a variety of mechanical, technical, and construction activities. Will have the responsibility for performing a variety of grounds and facility duties such as snow removal, masonry, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a minimum of two years’ experience in construction or maintenance tasks. Work history should include experience in carpentry, plumbing and grounds maintenance tasks. Knowledge of one or more of the trades is a must, but at a less than journeyman level of competence. Candidates should have knowledge of building maintenance and equipment maintenance. Candidates must have a high school diploma and pass a back-ground check/fingerprint clearance. This is a labor class position with a one year probationary period. Position follows all Warren County Civil Service reporting requirements.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:12 Month Employee
SALARY: As per CSEA contract $18.87 per hour for Maintenance Worker
