BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER
Salary: $47,238 (2026 Base Salary) Full time/Benefits
The Warren County Department of Public Works is seeking qualified candidates for the position of BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER.
Duties:
Performs a variety of semi-skilled building repair and maintenance tasks; does related work as required. At the present time there is one position available, at our Building & Grounds location, located at County Center exit 20, Lake George, NY
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of experience in either general building construction or maintenance work in one or more of the standard trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement: Possession of a Class D driver’s license at time of appointment.
Hiring preference will be given to the following conditions:
Good knowledge of modern buildings and grounds maintenance and repair practices; knowledge of the practices and techniques of one or more of the standard trades; mechanical aptitude; industry; good physical condition; dependability; manual dexterity.
Authority to fill this job vacancy is subject to the approval of the Board of Supervisors.
