• Kori Albrecht Officially Named as LARAC Outreach & Grant Director

LARAC (Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council) is delighted to announce that Kori Albrecht will officially take on the permanent role of Outreach & Grant Director as of September 24th, after serving as Interim since July 1, 2025. LARAC’s Community Outreach & Grant Director plays a key role in managing and promoting the Statewide Community Regrant Program (SCR) in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA). In addition, the Outreach & Grant Director oversees membership management and marketing and promoting of LARAC activities to the community and beyond.

Kori is not new to LARAC, having already served as the organization’s Outreach & Grant Coordinator from2016-2018 prior to moving to North Carolina. She returned to the Glens Falls area with her growing family in 2023 and again worked for LARAC as Co-Curator of LARAC Mountain Gallery until the birth of her second child in September of 2023. Kori stepped into the interim Outreach & Grant position in early July of this year, after long-time employee Alyssa O’Neill stepped away to focus on the birth of her first baby. LARAC welcomes Kori back and feels fortunate to have such an experienced arts administrator in place, serving in this vital role to the organization and community. Also a visual artist, Kori received a BFA from Keene State College and is known for highly-detailed pen & ink pointillist renderings of people, architecture and natural subjects.
