Customers will need to pre-register to drive during a ‘Test and Tune’ period
QUEENSBURY – ADK Karting – the new home of next-level, high-octane indoor racing in the Capital Region and North Country – has announced a soft opening Saturday, Nov. 1 at Aviation Mall. The facility will only be open to individuals who pre-register online for a time block until it opens to the general public on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
ADK Karting is offering two-hour time blocks on Nov. 1-2 and Nov. 5-9 for customers to race, golf and play arcade games on an unlimited basis. The cost is $45 for youth 48” to 54” tall and $75 for individuals who are taller. Patrons can only register for these in advance online at adkkarting.com and only patrons who have pre-registered will be admitted into the facility.
“We call this period Test & Tune,” said Jeremy Treadway, owner. “We want to manage the number of people in the building so that paying customers have the best possible experience while our staff is still learning.”
In addition to adult and youth karts and tracks, ADK Karting has a fleet of high-tech racing simulators; an 80s classic arcade-themed glow in the dark 18-hole mini-golf course; as well as nearly 50 arcade games for adults and youth. The venue also offers five party rooms that accommodate from 10 to over 40 guests, and the entire venue is available to book for private events. ADK Karting will offer a number of leagues year-around on its tracks and simulators; announcements on leagues coming soon.Venue hours are 3-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, noon to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Hours may vary on holidays and during school break weeks; updates will be announced on the website and social media.
