About Us

L.E.A.P. is the Community Action Agency for Washington County. We support individuals and families in attaining self-sufficiency by providing services, sharing resources, and through community collaboration. We let the customers we serve define their own versions of success and then our dedicated staff aids in determining a plan to achieve those goals.

L.E.A.P. offers services through our Head Start/ Early Head Start Program and our Career and Family Services Programs. Head Start/ Early Head Start works with children ages 0-5 and their families to prepare children for school. Our Career and Family Services Office provides employment and training services, helps you and adults attain their high school equivalency, provides transportation to senior citizens and Medicaid eligible adults, maintains an emergency food pantry and provides emergency services such has rent and utilities assistance.
