About Us

Community Bank, as the name suggests, is a locally focused financial institution offering a full spectrum of banking services. Community Bank’s Commercial Banking Office for the Capital Region is located in Albany, NY, led by Ken Countermine. Eric Magnano and Paul Wersten help to oversee commercial banking needs in the North Country given their respective backgrounds and experience. Specifically, Eric is a graduate of Saratoga City Schools who has already financed several well-known North Country projects and has several more in development. Paul Wersten lives in Gansevoort and has been a commercial lender and volunteer in the North Country since 2007. Currently on the board of directors for the Family YMCA of Glens Falls, Paul is also a past board President and past board member of the ARCC.
