    Account Manager/Sales Executive

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Meet company sales goals for new all-inclusive, concierge level IT clients and hosted phone system clients.
    • Appropriately identify and qualify potential business leads, collect information, and project manage the IT discovery and presentation process.
    • Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with MSP and Hosted Voice clients to prevent critical issues and resolve any issues if they arise.
    • Conduct technology review sessions with managed IT accounts on a regular basis (at least quarterly) or on an as-needed basis to gauge customer needs, expectations, satisfaction, and any upcoming projects and/or business changes.
    • Attend and participate in any meetings with Director of Sales, Director of Managed Services, All Staff Meetings, other company Director, and/or the President or CEO of the company as requested or scheduled.
    • Attend LayerEight sponsored events and community/Chamber of Commerce events on a regular basis promoting LayerEight’s image and helping educate people on services offered.
    • Attend training events as needed.
    • Stay informed and knowledgeable on industry news, technology, and trends.
    • Update all activities, sales processes, opportunities, and sales funnel in LeadAgent/SalesForce daily and send orders to the Business Office as needed.
    • Maintain technology skills as industry shifts and changes, to keep selling skills relevant and fresh.
    • Attend project meetings relevant to our clients.
    • Perform sales discovery, needs analysis, and telecommunications audits on prospective and current clients.
    • Attend scheduled potential client IT discoveries and complete onsite interviews and data collection.
    • Design, create, and present proposals, presentations, and necessary agreements and contracts for prospects and clients.
    • Assist with scheduling and giving all-inclusive IT client presentations.
    • Assist in past due collections from clients when asked.
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
    • Ability to speak publicly and give presentations on LayerEight products and services to a variety of audiences.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including via telephone/video conference, including active listening and customer-centric care.
    • Ability to multitask and adapt to new situations or requests quickly.
    • Ability to match resources, both human and technical, to the appropriate issues or opportunities.
    • Understanding of the support tools, techniques, and processes LayerEight uses to deliver products and services.
    • Working understanding of the technical details of the products and services LayerEight sells and delivers.
    • Typing and data entry ability
    • Self-motivated
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to be trained in and use LayerEight’s software tools to prospect, document, and track sales opportunities.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and be cognizant of the workload, needs, and compromises necessary to work effectively and efficiently.
    Compensation & Earning Potential
    • Guaranteed base salary: $50,000-$60,000 depending on experience
    • Commission on new sales and account growth, as well as residual income on renewals
    • Uncapped commission plan with steady year over year growth as client portfolio grows
