At Big Brothers Big Sisters, we believe in the power of mentorship to change lives. We're looking for a compassionate, motivated, and reliable Full-Time Group Mentor to lead small groups of youth in activities that build confidence, life skills, and financial literacy. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact through structured group mentoring during after-school hours in the academic year and daytime hours in the summer.

What You’ll Do

• Facilitate mentoring groups of 4 youth at a time, focusing on social-emotional development and financial literacy.
• Build positive relationships with youth, serving as a role model and support system.
• Develop and implement lesson plans and activities that promote a growth mindset, goal setting, and life skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, activities, and progress.
• Collaborate with program staff, community partners, and caregivers.
• Transport youth (as needed) using your personal vehicle—mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate.
• Duties as Assigned

• Passion for working with youth and helping them realize their potential.
• Excellent communication, patience, and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to adapt to varied schedules and environments.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle that seats at least 5 passengers.
• Proof of current car insurance.
• Must pass a fingerprint-based background check and meet all youth safety standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience working with youth in group settings strongly preferred.

• School Year: After-school hours, Monday through Friday (some evenings)
• Summer: Daytime hours, Monday through Friday
• Occasional weekends required for special events or programming

• Hourly Pay: $20–$22 based on experience
• Mileage Reimbursement: IRS rate for approved travel
