BOLTON CENTRAL SCHOOL is accepting applications for a FULL- TIME
TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR/AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC
This is a supervisory position involving responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the transportation facilities of a school district. Primary duties include planning bus routes, assigning and directing the work of drivers and ensuring that safety requirements and procedures are implemented, making skilled repairs and adjustments to buses, automotive equipment and machinery. Prepares periodic reports and oversees purchases of all supplies.
Possess or willing to acquire the appropriate class of New York state driver’s license to operate a school bus. Does related work as required. Position will be filled based on Civil Service requirements. A provisional appointment will be made with examination to be held at a later date. Candidate must meet civil service requirements for appointment following establishment of eligible list.
This is a 12-month position with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025.
Salary commensurate with experience. Minimum starting salary is $65,000
