NOTICE OF VACANCY
Supervising Custodians
Queensbury Union Free School District is recruiting for two Supervising Custodians. Full-time, 12- month, 40 hours/week, with benefits and NYS retirement.
Evening Shift : 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Salary: $55,000 - $60,000, actual salary based on education and experience
Day Shift , Intermediate School: 6 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday. Salary: $50,000 - $55,000, actual salary based on education and experience
Positions will be filled based on Civil Service requirements. A provisional appointment will be made with examination to be held at a later date. Candidates must meet civil service requirements for appointment following establishment of eligible list.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, and
1. Three years of experience in building cleaning or maintenance work AND two years of experience supervising the work of others, or
2. Three years of experience in any of the standard mechanical trades, construction trades or closely related field, AND two years of experience supervising the work of others.
