    NOTICE OF VACANCY
     
    SENIOR SUPPORT INVESTIGATOR
     
    The Warren County Department of Social Services is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Support Investigator. The Senior Support Investigator supervises one or more Support Investigators conducting investigations to determine the location and financial status of individuals legally responsible for the support of welfare recipients. Also supervises Support Investigators providing related services to the general public for the purpose of securing child support and/or establishment of paternity. Does related work as required.
     
    SALARY: $52,856 (2026 Base Salary)

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
         A) Associate’s degree in criminal justice and two (2) years of interviewing or investigation experience involving             public contact; or
         B) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and four (4) years of                      interviewing or investigation experience involving public contact; or
         C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as stated in (A) and (B) above. 

    The position will be filled based upon Civil Service requirements. A provisional appointment will be made with examination to be held at a later date. Candidates must meet Civil Service requirements for appointment following establishment of the Eligible List.
