BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER
Salary: $45, 751 Fulltime with Benefits
Warren County is seeking a BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER.
This is a non-competitive Civil Service position. Performs a variety of semi-skilled building repair and maintenance tasks; does related work as required. At the present time there is one position available, at our Parks and Recreation facility located at the Warren County Fish Hatchery in Warrensburg, NY
Minimum Qualifications: Two years of experience in either general building construction or maintenance work in one or more of the standard trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Possession of a Class D driver’s license at time of appointment.
Hiring preference will be given to the following conditions:
Good knowledge of modern buildings and grounds maintenance and repair practices; knowledge of the practices and techniques of one or more of the standard trades; mechanical aptitude; industry; good physical condition; dependability; manual dexterity.
Authority to fill this job vacancy is subject to the approval of the Board of Supervisors.
