Position Overview
As a Business Development Representative at Ray Audio Video, your primary focus will be to create new opportunities and drive growth by connecting commercial and residential clients with the right audio-video solutions. You’ll represent the first step in delivering the personalized, expert service we’re known for—turning curiosity into conversation, and conversation into partnership. Key Responsibilities- Generate and develop new business opportunities through outreach, referrals, and networking
- Understand customer needs and work collaboratively with the design team to recommend tailored audio-video system solutions
- Qualify leads and manage the early stages of the sales cycle
- Coordinate closely with sales, design, and installation teams to ensure client satisfaction
- Keep accurate records in the CRM and regularly report activity to the Sales Team Manager
- Represent Ray Audio Video at client meetings, events, and industry functions
What You Bring- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles (preferably in AV systems, tech solutions, or construction)
- Natural communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized
- Passion for building relationships and delivering value
- Collaborative spirit and team-focused mindset
- Comfort with CRM systems and basic reporting tools
