Amber Bergman, LMHC, RYT-300, of New Moon Healing
Amber is a licensed psychotherapist and trained Yoga instructor in private practice and has worked in the mental health field for over 25 years. Amber spent the first half of her career working as part of multidisciplinary teams at non-profit agencies to serve children and families in the community. Seeing the growing shortage of private providers in the area, Amber decided to transition to private practice and has been serving individual clients for the past 10 years. Amber blends traditional therapy techniques with yoga and meditative elements to offer her clients a whole-person approach to healing. She enjoys fostering a sense of curiosity in her clients that enables them to identify their areas of challenge and their greatest strengths. Amber welcomes any opportunity to be of service through collaborating with other professionals or organizations who share in the mission of helping others and strengthening community.

Andrea Deepe, CEO at ASCEND Mental Wellness
A dynamic organization dedicated to supporting individuals with mental health needs in Warren and Washington Counties, ASCEND offers a range of services, including residential care, clinical support, care management, peer services, and dual recovery programs. As a leader, Andrea is known for her heart-centered approach, focus on results, and her ability to use insightful analysis and teamwork to drive organizational growth, improve programs, and implement best practices. She is deeply hands-on in her leadership style and strives to empower others to achieve their highest potential.

Before stepping into the CEO role, Andrea gained over ten years of experience in quality assurance, advocacy, and corporate compliance, working with both private nonprofits and the State of New York. Her work has centered on supporting individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders. Andrea’s early career in direct care led her to the advocacy and quality assurance sectors, where she has worked tirelessly to improve services and care for individuals, regardless of their physical or mental health challenges.

In addition to her role at ASCEND, Andrea is a committed leader in her community. She is the Board President of the Hudson Mohawk Area Health Education Center, an Executive Board Member of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce, and a Board Director for both the Mental Health Association of New York State and the Northwinds Integrated Health Network IPA.

Andrea holds a degree from Liberty University and resides in Saratoga County with her husband. They cherish spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Bert Weber, Co-Founder of Common Roots Brewing and President of the Common Roots Foundation
Bert is the father in the father/son brewing team. Growing up with parents from Germany, good beer was part of his family heritage. Upon retiring from a 30-year career as a high school teacher, Bert was ready for a new adventure. His background in horticulture and design fueled the transformation of a warehouse building into our original brewery, and the inviting atmosphere of the Biergarten and taproom are the direct products of Bert’s creative vision.
