                        **All guests will have to go through standard GFH security procedures. The security desk is located immediately inside the Pruyn Pavilion entrance and event volunteers can guide you to the meeting space. Security will have a guest list available to speed this process. 

                        Parking: Please see attached map for parking locations in any of the 3 visitor lots, valet service or the parking garage. Please allow extra time for parking and security check in.

                        Description

                        The Workplace Health & Wellness Council of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce (ARCC) is dedicated to advancing its commitment to developing and sustaining a culture of wellness in the business community. The council is excited to host a panel discussion and welcome local experts from the Adirondack Employee Assistance Program, Glens Falls Hospital, and Comfort Food Community to discuss mental health and wellbeing, physical activity, and nutrition in the workplace.
                         
                        The Topic is Workplace Wellness From Head to Toe
                        This moderated discussion will address the many factors that impact mental and physical wellbeing and examples of strategies and resources to support employers.

                        Meet our Panelists:


                        Susan McManus, LCSW, CEAP - Sue has enjoyed a 42-year career in mental health and addiction services both overseas and in the United States. As a military spouse she worked in Germany and Saudi Arabia serving in professional and voluntary roles for service members and their families. She has lived in Glens Falls for the past 29 years and has worked in multiple roles supporting people with mental health and addiction needs. She is currently the Executive Director for Adirondack Employee Assistance Program and serves on the Warren County Community Services Board.

                        Sue received her Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) license from the Broadland School of Nursing, Norwich England, her Bachelor?s in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from San Jose State University, California, and her Master?s in Social Work (MSW) from State University of New York, Albany.  She is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) and a DOT qualified Substance Abuse Professional. Sue is passionate about challenging stigma in the mental health and addiction arena. She believes recovery for individuals and their families come from collaboration with and connection to our community.


                        Cathy Reichen, PT, DPT - Cathy is the Director of Employee Health and Safety at Glens Falls Hospital. She has been a physical therapist for almost 30 years.  She received her undergraduate degree from Russell Sage College and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Utica College.  She has been an employee of Glens Falls Hospital since college graduation working in both the inpatient and outpatient worlds of physical therapy.  Cathy eventually managed the return-to-work program called ?work hardening? at Glens Falls Hospital which led to her career in Occupational Medicine. 

                        Over the years, Cathy has worked as a specialist providing ergonomic consulting, workplace stretching program development and wellness education to many industries in our area along with across the country.  Cathy lives in Queensbury with her husband Max and her two beloved Labrador retrievers. 


                        Lyndsey Brainerd - Community Health Outreach Coordinator at Comfort Food Community (CFC) in Washington County. CFC is a food access organization whose mission is to provide nourishing food to our neighbors in need and lead the community to end rural hunger. In her role, Lyndsey is responsible for coordinating two produce prescription programs that operate in Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties, and provides resource navigation and referrals to clients both at CFC pantries and throughout the service region. Lyndsey obtained a master?s degree in public health from the Brown School at Washington University of St. Louis (WashU) in 2021. She has experience in academic research, project coordination, and program development. Prior to this role, Lyndsey worked for the Missouri Office of Refugee Resettlement (MO-ORA) as the Statewide Resource Coordinator and served as a research assistant for the Center of Human Rights, Gender, and Migration at WashU?s Institute for Public Health. Lyndsey is passionate about understanding the systemic and historical sources of health inequity, particularly relating to food security and social determinants of health.


                        Meet our Moderator


                        Erin Krivitski, PsyD - Erin is a CDPHP Workplace Health Strategist with professional experience in the fields of health promotion, training, curriculum development, higher education, and behavioral health. She is a Certified Wellness Practitioner and Wellness Program Coordinator, as well as a NYS Licensed Psychologist.
