Don’t miss this unique one-day mini-conference, developed to celebrate and infuse a spirit of creativity and innovation into the realms of science, technology, engineering, entrepreneurship, arts and math (STEEAM). Lunch will be provided! Further details below. Pre-registration is required. STEEAM AHEAD is open to students, faculty, staff and community members ages 17 and older. Tickets are $5 for SUNY Adirondack students, faculty & staff and $15 for general admission. Click here for conference details, the program schedule, and to register.
The event will include a keynote speech by Kevin R. (Randy) Stewart, PhD: "Innovation in a Rapidly Changing World - Don’t Believe Everything You Know." Following the keynote speech, participants will engage in three sessions:- “The Science & Technology Adirondack Studios Uses to Generate a Creative Outcome” - a panel by the staff of Adirondack Studios in Argyle, NY.
- “Hands-On, Minds-On STEAM Discovery” workshop by Catherine Gilbert, Vice President of the Children's Museum of Science and Technology (CMOST) in Troy, NY.
- “STEEAM Into Business” workshop by Kate Baker, Director of SUNY Adirondack Business Central.
