The ARCC is pleased to host guest speaker, Rose Miller of Pinnacle HR, LLC, to help educate businesses in our region on the impacts of the recently passed Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act.
The Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act was signed into law on March 31, 2021 by Governor Cuomo. While some provisions are effective immediately, others are not until 2022 or beyond.
NYS has legalized marijuana use, not just for medical purposes, but for recreational use too. At the same time, the Feds haven't legalized any of its use. How does a business navigate this new landscape?
