The Adirondack Nonprofit Business Council (ANBC) is hosting their annual Peer 2 Peer workshops on the morning of Wednesday, March 27th at The Queensbury Hotel. Regional nonprofits are encouraged to come learn and connect with other nonprofits on important topics. This event features two "tracks" going on simultaneously, followed by a presentation on what every employer needs to know to comply with new harassment regulations.Sidekick Creative will provide an overview of why your organization needs to have a presence on social media and how to best leverage your social media. In addition, they will provide tips and tricks on how to best manage your accounts.

There’s a New Law in Town: What Every Employer Needs to Know to Comply with New Harassment Regulations - presented by Gail Hamel, Hamel Resources
Did you know that all New York employers were required to have a Sexual Harassment policy in place as of October 2018? Do you know that all New York employers are required to provide annual Sexual Harassment training to all staff to begin no later than October 2019?
This session will provide participants with information to help ensure that they recognize the significance of new regulations and how to comply.
