Meet our panelists:
Greg Chanese, Assistant Director - Capital Region SBDC
Greg Chanese is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of professional experience in the Capital Region of New York, where he has worked across various sectors. Throughout his career, Greg has leveraged his expertise in marketing, business management, and technology to drive the mission and goals of the organizations he has served. As the assistant director with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the University at Albany, one of Greg’s focuses has been helping the small business community navigate the world of artificial intelligence and currently leads a national group of SBDC advisors on understanding and communicating how small businesses can utilize this newer technology.
Chuck Copenspire
Chuck Copenspire is a creative strategist, TEDx speaker, and holistic coach who helps small business owners with big ideas build authentic brands that attract the right people. They specialize in working with disabled, queer, and neurodivergent entrepreneurs who want to turn challenges into strengths. Chuck also supports values-driven business owners who want to make an impact, be memorable, and bring in more aligned leads. Based in Glens Falls, Chuck blends creativity, clarity, and real-world strategy to help you feel confident, visible, and ready to grow.
Kate Austin, Founder, Owner & CEO - Advokate,LLCKate is known in Glens Falls for her creative advocacy and event promotion. She’s co-founder and administrator of the Arts District of Glens Falls and her involvement in the arts includes roles as interim director of the World Awareness Children’s Museum, manager of The Shirt Factory Arts & Healing Center, president of NorthCountryARTS, and arts calendar editor for the Glens Falls Chronicle. She was named a Woman of Distinction by New York State Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner in 2023 and was one of the Post-Star’s 20 under 40 in 2019.
She is a regular presenter at SUNY Adirondack, WSWHE BOCES and local schools, asked to speak about her journey to entrepreneurship, and participated on a panel for FoundBridge in 2023 to share her experiences with failure on the road to success.Tell a Friend
