About: Family Service Association of Glens Falls is a non-profit agency serving Warren, Washington and Northern Saratoga Counties to help families and individuals cope with situations beyond their resources.
Location status: Open but closed to walk-in traffic
Current needs: The biggest need is financial donations to our programs. We can use donations of any size to help fund our programs that help people with food, emergency rent or utility payments, emergency medical needs. All donations will go directly to helping the clients. So many of our clients have had hours cut at work or have been laid off from their jobs. It is a very challenging time for low resource families and individuals.
The Family YMCA of the Glens Falls Area is working to ensure people in the region can still get the exercise they need in the comfort of their home, as the country looks to limit the spread of COVID-19. The Y is now offering a new online resource called Y-360, part of a nationwide Y initiative. The virtual YMCA membership has a variety of group exercise classes for all ages, classes range from boot camps to active older adult programs, yoga and youth sports. Y-360 is free and available to all.In effort to continue support the health and wellbeing of our members as well as the broader community, the Family YMCA of the Glens Falls Area will also be adding its own videos on both Facebook and YouTube. About: The Lake George Land Conservancy is an accredited not-for-profit land trust dedicated to working with willing landowners and other partners to protect the world-renowned water quality of Lake George and to permanently preserve the natural, scenic, historical and recreational resources of the Lake George region.
Location status: Office closed, employees working remotely
Current needs: The LGLC is looking for monetary donations to continue their mission of protecting the land around Lake George, and providing safe access to the most beautiful areas of the Lake George region. Visit their website for more information.

About: The Moreau Community Center has been in operation since 1977. One of the major human service agencies in northern Saratoga County, the Center is a hub for youth, seniors, and general community activities. The mission of the Moreau Community Center is to meet the multi-generational needs of the community in a compassionate and inclusive environment.
Location status: We are open for all our food-related services – our food pantry is open M-F 9-3, we do our Hannaford outreach program on Monday and Wednesdays at 10:00 am. We deliver food to SGF seniors who normally grocery-shop with us on Wednesdays, and we do backpacks on Fridays that the school district then delivers.

About: The Glens Falls Salvation Army's Comprehensive Emergency Service Program helps residents of Warren, Washington and Northern Saratoga Counties with life sustaining needs. Last year over 2800 people were served though this program; aided in crisis and guided to lasting solutions.

About: The Sembrich is a unique cultural experience that presents an annual music and film Summer Festival and hosts an Opera Museum and Nature Trails on the shores of Lake George. Location status: In order to continue to offer a sense of normalcy, Silver Bay has moved many of their in-person programs to a virtual platform in order to keep their guests from around the globe engaged. Join Silver Bay’s Spiritual Life Director, Rev. Garth Allen and their Chaplain, Rev. Bruce Tamlyn every Wednesday at 11:00AM on Facebook for a weekly devotional, which includes a discussion around current events, reading of scripture, and singing!
If you’re feeling the need for some fresh air, Silver Bay Conference & Family Retreat Center welcomes you to walk their 700-acre campus which includes 1 mile of Lake George shoreline and many hiking trails, most with beautiful views of Lake George. (Maps can be found on their website)
Tri-County United Way Launches COVID-19 Community Response Fund: The Tri-County United Way COVID-19 Community Response Fund will support relief efforts of organizations addressing unmet basic needs as a result of the corona virus. Designed to provide additional, critical funding and resources to existing assistance programs and local nonprofit agencies, the fund will help people in Warren, Washington and Northern Saratoga Counties.100% of the funds donated will be distributed. The first allocation of funds will be used to help food pantries respond to a rapidly-growing demand for food and commodities. Additional allotments will be made in the coming weeks. Tri-County United Way board committee headed by Judge David Krogmann will oversee the funds and their distribution. The committee will determine the specific requirements and the process for providing payments from the fund. The total amount in the fund, contributors to the fund and use and impact of the fund allocations will be available at www.tricountyunitedway.org.

Please note your contribution to the COVID-19 Community Response Fund on your check.About: The World Awareness Children’s Museum has been a NYS Designated Charter Museum since 1995 with a mission to inspire curiosity and foster understanding and appreciation of worldwide cultural diversity. Its collection is comprised of pieces from 140 countries including 8,000+ artifacts (fashion, musical instruments, dolls, toys and other objects) as well as 7,000+ pieces of international children’s art.
Location status: Museum is closed until further notice.
