Public Health Program Manager
Promotional Opportunity
This position works directly with the agency’s Director and Deputy Director on agency wide administrative level projects as well as developing/implementing policies and procedures in programmatic areas; evaluating and analyzing agency program activities/services to assess community health needs and to identify gaps. Responsibilities include agency grant administration and oversight, in addition to the agency’s state aid programs and other program applications involving collaborating agencies and partners. The work requires a high degree of autonomy, independent judgement and organizational skill to ensure efficient flow and coordination of agency programs. With many of the Public Health programs being grant related, approximate time and effort will be allocated to several Health Services programs.
SALARY: $68,154 (Base Salary); Full time with benefits
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must be a current employee of Health Services with 3 years permanent status as a Public Health Program Coordinator or a Senior Health Educator.
Position will be filled based on Civil Service requirements. A provisional appointment will be made with examination to be held at a later date. Candidate must meet civil service requirements for appointment following the establishment of an eligible list.
