• Annual ARCC Business Awards

  • The Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce will be presenting awards to deserving member businesses for their achievements in business, economic and quality of life contributions to our area.

    The nominee must be an ARCC member in good standing.  All nominees will be reviewed by a committee of ARCC members.  Please note: all active ARCC Members are eligible for nomination, however, a business cannot win a category twice in the same five year period.


    Nominations are being accepted for the following categories:

    - Large Business of the Year Award
    Recognition of an established business of 51 or more employees.


    - Professional Business of the Year Award
    Recognition of an established professional business (accountants, attorneys, doctors, architects, engineers, etc.) of 2 to 50 employees.


    - Steven M. Sutton Small Business of the Year Award
    Recognition of an established business of 2 to 50 employees who exhibits an entrepreneur spirit.


    - Rookie Business of the Year Award
    Recognition of a business in existence for three years or less, that shows great promise and potential for continued success and has at least 2 but no more than 50 employees. This business should exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit while showing signs of staying power.


    - Small Nonprofit Organization of the Year Award
    Recognition of a not-for-profit 501c3 business, with less than 40 employees, whose organizational mission is reflective of community needs and has demonstrated outstanding contributions to the community’s quality of life.


    - Large Nonprofit Organization of the Year Award
    Recognition of a not-for-profit 501c3 business, of more than 40 employees, whose organizational mission is reflective of community needs and has demonstrated outstanding contributions to the community’s quality of life.


    - Community Champion of the Year Award
    Recognition of a business that supported our communities through contributions, such as donations, volunteering, or organizing initiatives to benefit our region.
