Tri-County United Way Executive Director Submits Resignation
Tri-County United Way on Tuesday announced that Duane Vaughn, Executive Director has resigned his position effective the August 31, 2020.
“As Duane departs his position to pursue a new chapter in his life, we wish him the very best in his new endeavor. Over the past years he has been invaluable to the success of the Tri-County United Way. His organizational skills and truly caring feelings for the disadvantaged in our area have come at a crucial time for us. He has become an integral and important leader in our community and we will miss him” said David Krogmann, President of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Vaughn stated that “serving the Tri-County United Way has been an honor. I have been fortunate to work in such a caring community with so many hardworking non-profit agencies, generous businesses and donors and United Way staff and a Board of Directors that work selflessly to provide important safety net programs and funding for our most vulnerable population.”
Krogmann indicated that the Board of Directors will now undertake immediately the important process of selecting a new Executive Director to ensure the continued success of the Tri-County United Way and its crucial programs.
