The Adirondack Pond Hockey Tournament is an annual pond hockey competition hosted in one of the most hockey friendly towns in the USA – Glens Falls, NY.  The people behind the scenes making this tournament happen are hockey enthusiasts, including the folks who run several local and regional events (including Americade) and many enthusiastic hockey fans, and the city itself.

The Tournament will be held at Crandall Park in Glens Falls on Feb 2nd and 3rd, 2019. Up to forty teams from around the northeast will compete in the 2 day tournament to be the winner of this inaugural event.

The tournament games will begin Saturday at 8am, Feb 2nd, on special rinks built on the grass fields of
Crandall Park. Play will continue through the weekend, with the championship games for the two
    divisions taking place Sunday afternoon.

The tournament will be a triple elimination format, ensuring that each team will play at least three games.

All players will receive a ticket to the Adirondack Thunder’s home game on Feb 1st, a tournament t-shirt,
a special hockey puck, tickets to the “Puck Drop Welcome Party” on Friday night, and dinner tickets to the Saturday Apres Ice Party. The team cost of the tournament is $450 (equating to only $75 per player).
A portion of the proceeds every year will go to several local hockey-related charities.
The Adirondack Pond Hockey Tournament will be February 2 & 3, 2019. Details are available at
