TD Bank Housing For Everyone Grant Competition
TD Bank has announced that this year's competition will award $5.8 million to address increased demands for housing and services due to COVID-19. This funding will support capacity building for organizations to address resident services for low- to moderate-income individuals and families.
Grants ranging from $150,000−$250,000 will be made available to eligible organizations addressing needs, including but not limited to workforce development, public benefits enrollment and management, housing navigation and eviction prevention, housing counseling (HUD-certified), and financial coaching and education.
This year's Housing for Everyone theme is a direct response to the challenges facing affordable housing providers. Earlier in the year we held focus groups from Maine to Florida and heard directly from past Housing for Everyone grantees, local partners, and community development experts, who identified internal working capacity as one of the most pressing issues for organizations as they work toward pandemic recovery.
