The Silver Bay YMCA Family Conference & Retreat Center will host dancers from the American Ballet Theatre for an evening of dance on August 15th, 2019 at its location in Silver Bay, New York.

Featuring Principal Dancer Corey Stearns and other dancers of the American Ballet Theatre, the performance will showcase dance compositions from several celebrated ballets such as Swan Lake and Manon, as well as the world premiere of Le Sablier, a new arrangement featuring new choreography created especially for the Silver Bay event by Nick Palmquist.

“Thanks to the generous support of The Dalio Foundation, this performance is free and open to the community,” stated Steve Tamm, CEO at Silver Bay YMCA. “Bringing the world-renowned talent of the American Ballet Theatre to Silver Bay and the Adirondack region is so exciting, and we are delighted that we can share this experience with everyone in the community.”

A limited number of VIP tickets, which include admittance to the dress rehearsal, access to preferred seating for the performance on August 15th, and an opportunity to meet the dancers at a private gala following the performance, are available for purchase for $75.00.

The American Ballet Theatre, an internationally celebrated cultural institution that creates, presents, and extends the repertoire of classical dancing to audiences worldwide, will perform in the historic Auditorium on the Silver Bay campus. “This is a one-of-a-kind evening that will inspire everyone, from aspiring dancers to regional residents, with an appreciation for this amazing form of art,” said Lindsey Butler, Director of Sales and Marketing at Silver Bay. “We are excited to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy an extraordinary performance by this internationally celebrated dance company, here on the shores of Lake George.”
