• Glens Falls Community Theatre Wins a Free Rebrand with Creative KickStart!

    GLENS FALLS, NY—Sidekick Creative is excited to announce their upcoming event, Creative Kickstart—a weekend-long sprint to rebrand a well-deserving, local nonprofit organization for free—which will begin this Friday, May 1st. After many applications were received, a social media voting contest narrowed the candidates down to three finalists, and an independent panel of community business leaders interviewed and chose the winning organization: Glens Falls Community Theatre!

    Starting on Friday, the Sidekick Creative team will work closely with a team from Glens Falls Community Theatre to develop an updated logo, new website, redesigned print collateral, and digital marketing tools. The process will be an immersive branding exercise for the client, and an exciting design challenge for Sidekick Creative, with a comprehensive suite of marketing materials as the result.

    A strategic approach to branding and marketing is important for any organization, especially small businesses and nonprofits who often operate with limited time and resources. The Creative KickStart aims to help lighten this load for a local entity making a difference in the community. During this unprecedented crisis, many nonprofits and arts organizations are feeling especially strained, as they often rely on donations and fundraising events to support their operating budgets. Instead of postponing the event until after the lockdown, event organizers agreed that the Creative Kickstart would be a great way for Glens Falls Community Theatre to engage their audience and connect with their supporters.

    Sidekick has also partnered with generous local sponsors to provide additional free marketing services to Glens Falls Community Theater, after the event has concluded. Social media influencers Tom & Bri Lyons, of Glens Falls Living (@GlensFallsLiving), The Yellow Note (@TheYellowNote), and Where's The Wagoneer (@wheresthewagoneer), will be providing a consultation on social media strategy. Digital Marketer Amberly Bucci (www.amberlybucci.com) will provide consulting services and an SEO audit. And local printer M&M Digital Printing (www.mandmdigitalprinting.com) has donated their services for print materials to be produced.
