Advokate, LLC, a Downtown Glens Falls design and marketing firm, announces the hiring of Caitlin Stedman as Operations and Communications Associate and Jessica Chanese, both of Queensbury, as Copy Writer. The new team members bring their own set of talents to expand on Advokate's business offerings.
Caitlin Stedman brings with her a history of experience in the creative community having worked for various arts organizations. She attended Vancouver Film School and is an accomplished filmmaker with her company, Snarky Aardvark Films, LLC. As Operations and Communications Associate, Ms. Stedman will work on improving processes and workflows, assist in developing an Operations Manual, project management, and videography services. Caitlin will be part of the process from proposal to testimonial. Ms. Stedman says, “I love that Advokate provides great customer service and technical skill while maintaining an artist’s approach. I am honored to be part of the team!”
Jessica Chanese, as Copy Writer, brings the technical and precise copy writing skills needed for grant writing and the fun and emotion of creative writing. She will provide SEO rich and audience targeted copy writing services for blog posts, web pages, and more. Mrs. Chanese graduated from SUNY Empire State College and is currently writing an epic good-versus-evil minivan saga.
Mrs. Chanese says, “Advokate has built an impressive reputation in our region as both a producer
of high-quality creative work and one that’s genuinely invested in the development of our community. I’m thrilled for the chance to use my love of words and storytelling to help local organizations share their missions and messages.”
With the addition of Ms. Stedman and Mrs. Chanese, Advokate now provides improved copy writing services and is excited to announce new videography packages. Videography is a compelling way to concisely and creatively showcase what you do, who you are and how you do your thing. Advokate's Videography packages range from GIFs, short clips for social media, or scripted shorts with DSLR equipment and professional audio and light design.
“I’ve been sitting on this fence for years, stuck between having too much to do and not enough stashed away to comfortably make the plunge into hiring,” Kate Austin-Avon, owner of Advokate, says about hiring. “With the new year here and some big plans in the works, I knew it was time to get off the fence and take the plunge.”
