• 32nd Annual International Cuisine Dinner and Auction & Member’s Drop-Off Night

    The World Awareness Children’s Museum will be holding their 32nd Annual International Cuisine Dinner and Auction at the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Waterpark in Queensbury, NY, on Sunday, May 22, 4:30pm - 8pm. This program is the museum’s biggest fundraiser of the year and offers those in attendance the opportunity to dine on a delicious selection of international food from some of the area’s finest restaurants. Guests will also have an opportunity to participate in the program’s raffle, live auction, and silent auction, featuring an assortment of donated goods from local and national businesses and organizations. The theme for this year’s event is Thailand, coinciding with the launch of the museum’s latest hands-on exhibit, “Thailand: Beauty & Beasts.” Some of the restaurants participating this year are: Morgan and Co., Grateful Den, Raul's Mexican Grill, Alif Cafe, Aroy Dee, Tandoori Grill, Rock Hill Bakehouse, Darling Donuts.

    Tickets are now on sale through Ticketleap. Young professionals up to 35 years of age can purchase theirs for $110 + fees per ticket, and individual adult tickets for $125 + fees per ticket. They can be purchased at wacm.ticketleap.com/cuisine2022

    And the museum will be offering a brand-new membership perk, Museum Members Drop-off Night on Friday, May 20, 6:30pm - 8:30pm! This program, being offered once a month, enables museum members to drop their children off for a fun night of games, crafts, and museum exploration. This program is appropriate for children ages 3 and older, and all children must be fully potty-trained. Cost: $10 per child.
