    Job Description

    A full time alarm technician position is available for the Glens Falls, NY Area with our regional, well established alarm company.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Responsibilities:

    • Installation and service of access control, close circuit TV (CCTV) and burglar/fire alarm systems
    • Troubleshoot and assist in designing a variety of alarm systems
    • Field experience in network cabling installation and network configuration
    • Ability to manage multiple small to large scale installations within budget and on time
    • Work in compliance with the company safety manual, with safety of self and others in mind at all times
    • Work closely with Home Office (ie, job status/updates, log in/out of jobs)
    • Work closely with engineers and contractors to ensure complete system compliance
    • Excellent communication & customer service skills
    • Have the ability to multitask and work independently
    • Perform all work to company’s standards and quality installation techniques are practiced.

    Knowledge / Experience:

    • Training will be provided to the right candidate
    • Strong electronics background
    • Detailed oriented and results driven individual
    • Clean background check and driver’s license
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Good organizational skills with an eye for detail
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Experience with alarm products (ie, DMP, American Dynamics, Pelco, DSC, GE Interlogix)
    • Travel required
