A full time alarm technician position is available for the Glens Falls, NY Area with our regional, well established alarm company. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Installation and service of access control, close circuit TV (CCTV) and burglar/fire alarm systems
- Troubleshoot and assist in designing a variety of alarm systems
- Field experience in network cabling installation and network configuration
- Ability to manage multiple small to large scale installations within budget and on time
- Work in compliance with the company safety manual, with safety of self and others in mind at all times
- Work closely with Home Office (ie, job status/updates, log in/out of jobs)
- Work closely with engineers and contractors to ensure complete system compliance
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Have the ability to multitask and work independently
- Perform all work to company’s standards and quality installation techniques are practiced.
Knowledge / Experience:
- Training will be provided to the right candidate
- Strong electronics background
- Detailed oriented and results driven individual
- Clean background check and driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience with alarm products (ie, DMP, American Dynamics, Pelco, DSC, GE Interlogix)
- Travel required
