Restaurant Host/Hostess

Job Description:
Lotus Group of Companies will have an immediate opening for a Host/Hostess at our new restaurant The Bond 1786. The Host/Hostess presents the first positive impression, and they will be responsible to greet all incoming and departing guest with a warm genuine smile and eye contact. The Host/Hostess will work closely with the Wait staff, Bartender & Chefs to help maintain all aspects of the dining room experience for patrons.

Qualifications:

• Willing to undergo a background check.

 
Responsibilities:

• Receiving and confirming walk-in, telephonic & online reservations
• Greet all guest and seat them according to their preference.
• Directing early arrivals to the bar as they wait for their tables to become available.
• See to it that the guests are seated comfortably and there is a waiter present to take their order
• Observant to guest needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service
• Help ensure that the restaurant is clean before they open for business and throughout the duration of operating hours
• Help coordinate between all the staff of the restaurant and ensure that everything is in working order
• Engaging with guest to ensure they are happy with food and service while exiting the buildings
• Assisting with other positions in the restaurant as needed
• Providing great customer services
• Work hours as required throughout the different seasons, including holidays
• Receive payments and process to go orders

 
Requirements:

• Ability to learn Menu  & Seasonal entries
• Upbeat Personable outgoing attitude
• Organization skills
• Customer service/Professionalism
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Formal Front of the House experience preferred

 
What you can expect:

• Competitive hourly wage starting from $12-16 based on experience
