Job Duties:

• Develop, foster and maintain professional relationships with county, health, and human service agencies to help educate the public about SNAP (food stamps) and other federal feeding programs.
• Conduct prescreens with potentially eligible individuals face to face at outreach sites and home visits and assist in the preparation and submission of the SNAP application and required documentation.
• Assist applicants with any challenges they may encounter in the application process.                                                          
• Prepare and submit required reports to the funding source.
• Maintain files, data collection and record of expenditures
• Place and replenish NOEP materials to outreach sites throughout Washington County

• Ability to travel Washington County to network with outreach sites and potential applicants
• Good communication skills – written, verbal, computer
• Appropriate advocacy skills for clients experiencing challenges/roadblocks
• Helpful to have worked in the human services sector
