    Position Title: Senior Account Executive
    Division: Business Insurance Division
                    Reports To: Department Manager            
     
    Basic Description:  
    Responsible for providing outstanding experiences to assigned clients, which will positively affect retention and revenue growth for the organization.  Knowledgeable in insurance coverage and service workflows.  Exercises discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.  Capable of maintaining an up-to-date and accurate database by adhering to the department and organization’s guidelines and procedures.                                                       
    Examples of Work Performed:
    1. Support to Client
    1. Gather detailed information from client. Act as liaison between client and carrier so that request is efficiently and prompted handled. Refer coverage inquires to assigned Sales Executive if needed (self-manage assigned accounts).
    2. Maintain timely and accurate documentation (including reporting of claims) on all client, policy, carrier and broker activity.
     
    1. Support to Sales Executives
    1. Assist with Renewal Processes (monitor expiration lists, attend monthly renewal meetings, generate applications, secure pricing, update summaries, follow up for receipt of policies, verify & prepare policies for delivery). Coordinate (or handle) renewal services (ID cards, certificates, posters, evidence of property, fee agreements, invoicing, finance contracts).
    2. Assist with New Business Processes (including application completion, if assigned), customer set up on AMS360, follow up for receipt of policies, verify and prepare policies for delivery). Assist with binding of coverage if needed. Coordinate new business services (ID card, certificates, posters, evidence of property, fee agreements, invoicing).
    3. Process all incoming transactions according to department and agency procedures (claims, endorsements, audits, cancellations, billing, and payments to brokers, reinstatements, and policy notifications).
    4. Promptly request or enter policy changes requested by client & Sales Executive.
    5. Set up and manage suspense follow-ups.
    6. Assist Sales Executive with client contract review regarding insurance requirements.
    7. Assist Sales Executive with a higher level of support by meeting with clients, securing completed paperwork and discussing
    renewal options with clients. (With or without the Sales Executive in attendance).
     
    1. Other Duties
     
    1. If SBIU clients are assigned, see Sales Executive job description.
    2. If assigned, responsible for coordinating the timely filing of the agency’s annual Regulation 87 Disclosure statements.
    3. Be responsive & prompt to management and co-worker inquiries.
    4. Attend and participate in meetings and education programs.
    5. Branch Office Positions – Provide administrative support in day-to-day office operations (incoming phone calls, customer walk-ins, postal mail distribution, scanning, bank deposits, supply ordering, word processing and shredding).

    Qualifications:
    1) Sense of urgency in alignment with the Sales Team goals

        and department guidelines.

    4) Computer literate in Microsoft Applications, AMS360, 
        Company Websites and Etfile.
    5) Confident and insightful communicator
    6) Valid and acceptable drivers’ license
         
           Special Requirements:
    1. Licensed w/Insurance designation (focused on obtaining
    additional related designations).          
    1. Demonstrates ability to successfully handle and self-
    manage $425,000+ book of business & other tasks as assigned.

                 experiences to client and co-workers).
