Lotus Group of Companies has an immediate opening for a Live-In Inn keeper at our new 10 room Inn “The Bond 1786“ located at 3 Hudson Street Warrensburg NY 12885. In this role you will perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain living conditions at the Inn in a clean and orderly manner. Duties will include, managing reservations, greeting guests, washing linens, making beds, cleaning rooms (bathrooms) and halls, and vacuuming.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Less than a High School Diploma

Willing to undergo a background check
Responsibilities:
-
Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies.
-
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
-
Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas daily
-
Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.

Keep storage areas and laundry room well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
-
Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
-
Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.

Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
-
Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing, as necessary.

Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.

Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.

Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses.

Manage online reservation system, greet guests for check-in and organize departure plans.

Coordinate pricing and other online reservation systems connected to the properties main system

Assist guests with information about local activities and attractions, help with dining reservations or other needs

What you can expect:

6 day work week with rotating day off each week, Holidays and “On Call” availability after hours

Hourly Rate based on experience. Paid Time Off after successfully completing 90 day period.
