EARN AS YOU LEARN
We are now accepting applications for our next class starting December 13th, 2019.
This is a paid training class with classroom hours 8 am-3 pm and clinical hours 7 am-3 pm. Training lasts approximately 6 weeks.
Full attendance is required.
Upon successful completion of the training class you will be offered full or part time employment for Evening (3 pm-11 pm) or Night (11 pm-7 am) shifts.

WHAT WILL I DO?
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), supporting the mission of Wesley Community will include the following responsibilities:
- Provide your assigned residents with needed routine daily nursing care in accordance with our established nursing care procedures, and as directed by your supervisors.
- Perform non-professional nursing duties related to the personal care and comfort of the residents.
- Perform services necessary for the cleanliness and care of the resident's environment, personal items, and equipment.
WHAT IS REQUIRED OF ME FOR THIS ROLE?
- Must be 18 years or older.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT IN LONG TERM CARE?
- Long Term Care is very rewarding way to make a difference in someone's life every day.
- You will build relationships with the residents, staff and residents' families while providing care in a home-like setting.
- Expect to be challenged by a wide variety of situations; you will have routine tasks such as med passes and dressing changes but, no two days are the same.
- Plenty of one-on-one time to give attention to our residents and form impacting relationships.
