    NOTICE OF ANTICIPATED VACANCY
    SENIOR ACCOUNT CLERK

    The Warren County Department of Social Services is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time position of Senior Account Clerk. The Senior Account Clerk is responsible for independently performing and/or supervising the maintenance and review of financial accounts and records.

    SALARY: $ 36, 414 (2022 Base Salary)

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school diploma or possession of a high school equivalence diploma and:
    (a) Associate’s Degree or higher in accounting, business or closely related field; or
    (b) Two years of experience maintaining financial accounts and records.
    NOTE: Education beyond the secondary level must be obtained from an institution that is a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university.
    The position will be filled based upon Civil Service requirements. A provisional appointment will be made with examination to be held at a later date. Candidate must meet Civil Service requirements for appointment following establishment of the Eligible List.
