NOTICE OF VACANCY
HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Salary: $47,667 Fulltime with Benefits
Warren County is seeking a HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR for performing safe and efficient operation of heavy automotive equipment and variety of manual tasks in connection with such operations, as well as related work as required. The work is usually performed under general supervision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- One (1) year of experience in the operation of specialized or heavy motor equipment; or
- Two (2) years of experience in the operation of any type of automotive equipment; or
- Equivalent combination of experience and training.
Authority to fill this job vacancy is subject to the approval of the Board of Supervisors.
Special Requirement for Positions in Warren County DPW: Eligibility for a valid Grade A New York State Commercial Driver License with no restrictions at the time of appointment; possession of license with endorsements within six (6) months of appointment, and maintenance of license throughout the tenure of appointment.
