Custodian

The Warren County Department of Public Works is seeking qualified candidates
for the position of Custodian. The Custodian is responsible for the efficient and
economical cleaning and maintenance of a small or medium building or an
assigned portion of a larger building. Duties include routine cleaning, semi-skilled
repair and maintenance tasks. The work is performed under general supervision
with leeway for independent judgment in keeping the facility up to approved
standards of cleanliness and operation. Supervision may be exercise over the work
of cleaning personnel. Does related tasks as required.

SALARY: $41,213 (Base Salary)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: One (1) year of training and/or experience in
building cleaning and/or maintenance.

The position will be filled based upon Civil Service requirements. A provisional
appointment will be made with examination to be held at a later date. Candidate
must meet Civil Service requirements for appointment following establishment of
the Eligible list.
