    The City of Glens Falls is seeking a full-time, provisional, Communication Director. An incumbent in this position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing internal and external communications, public relations, and community relations activities for the City of Glens Falls. The work involves developing and implementing a comprehensive program designed to inform, educate, and gain support of the public regarding the objectives, operations, and initiatives of the City.
    Residency: Candidates must have been legal resident of Warren or a contiguous County for at least four months immediately preceding the date of the exam.
    Salary: $50,000-$55,000   40-hour work week   Excellent Benefits
    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of full-time paid experience in the field of public relations, news publication or a related field.

    NOTE: Education beyond the secondary level must be obtained from an institution that is a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university.
    Local and regional media experience helpful.
