NOTICE OF ANTICIPATED VACANCY
CASE MANAGER - FOSTER CARE HOME FINDER
The Warren County Department of Social Services is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time position of Case Manager – Foster Care Home Finder. The Case Manager – Foster Care Home Finder performs home finder services within the DSS foster and adoptive home program. Responsibilities include recruitment, training and case management of the certification/recertification processes for foster and adoptive parents/homes. Eligibility and fiscal claiming of all Foster Care and Adoption case files. The incumbent also provides ongoing support to foster/adoptive families to ensure safe and nurturing homes. The work is performed under the general supervision of the foster care unit supervisor with leeway allowed for independence within established guidelines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and one (1) year of full-time paid experience in the field of child welfare or social work, or
- Associate’s in human services or related field and three (3) years of experience in the field of child welfare or social work.
RESIDENCY: Residency in Warren County or a contingent County is required.
SALARY: $ 44,384 with full benefits
The position will be filled based upon Civil Service requirements. A provisional appointment will be made with an exam to be held at a later date. Candidate must meet Civil Service requirements for appointment following the establishment of the Eligible List.
