    Glens Falls National Bank & Trust Company is seeking an experienced
    Mortgage Project Specialist

     JOB SUMMARY:
    Responsible for assisting the Residential Lending management team with troubleshooting and maintaining the Encompass Loan Origination System.  Works directly with Mortgage Operations Senior Manager on special projects and systems-related issues.  Will collaborate with department management to provide Encompass Loan Origination System training to Residential Lending team.
     
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    §    Provide initial training and ongoing support to Residential Lending department for Encompass Loan Origination System.  Stay up-to-date on system features and modification and communicate changes to department team members as appropriate.
    §      Assist Residential Lending Department management team with project management, processes and workflow job aide creation, and maintenance as appropriate.
    §      Function as liaison between Residential Lending and Information Technology business partner and Encompass Help Desk.
    §      Manage, report progress, and complete projects as assigned by Director of Residential Lending and/or Mortgage Operations Senior Manager.
    §      Provide administrative, operational, and technical support to all areas of the Residential Lending Department (Processing, Operations, Underwriting, Closing/Post-Closing) as needed.
     
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Education/Certifications/Experience:
    §      Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Associates Degree or equivalent experience required
    §      3+ years of experience in finance, real estate, legal, and/or general business preferred; 1-2 years of mortgage-related experience with Encompass preferred
    Skills/Knowledge:
    §      Solid problem solving and analytical skills; ability to extract and interpret information from multiple sources
    §      Demonstrated organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
    §      Strong communications skills, both written and verbal; comfortable communicating with, co-workers, management, and other third parties
    §      Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite:  Word, Excel, Outlook as well as banking-related software and Encompass
    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for brief periods of time.
    • Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and computer mouse and keyboard.
    • Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs.
