    Glens Falls National Bank & Trust Company is seeking and experienced

    Accounts Payable Clerk

    This opportunity may be perfect for you if you have experience in:

    - Accounts payable processing, and

    - Strong Attention to Detail 



    This position Works within the Accounting Operations area of Finance performing a variety of routine tasks including:  calculating, posting, and verifying to support the accounting functions of the Company.

    Responsibilities Include:

    ?    Process and pay approved invoices in accordance with established accounting and control procedures.

    ?    Perform administrative and data entry duties to support department.

    ?    Prepare various general ledger entries with high level of accuracy.

    ?    Receive and respond to internal customer service inquiries.

    ?    Perform account reconciliations accurately and timely.

    ?    Assist supervisor with other tasks/projects as requested; work collaboratively with department team.


    ?     High School Diploma or equivalent

    ?     1-2 years of experience preferred

    Skills/Knowledge Requirements:

    ?    Quality computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office Suite:  Excel, Word, Outlook

    ?    Demonstrated ability to proofread/check work with careful attention to detail

    ?    Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

    ?    Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable communicating and working cooperatively with team members and internal customers

    ?    Solid math skills and ability to spot numerical errors

    ?    Proven work ethic and ability to handle sensitive, confidential information appropriately
